March - Is it really Spring?

March - Is it really Spring?

Do we dare to think that Spring has sprung? I think we have all been a tad fed up with the drizzle and grey, it' hard to get excited about new goodies when the skies are so drab. Hopefully though we are nearly there, the shop is certainly starting to look brighter and new season clothing has been arriving and leaving (thank you) very quickly. There's a fabulous array of dresses on the way from two of our favourite brands Goose Island and Patchouli Fair and if you are making your way to our late night event in March you'll...

Let's try to brighten this weather up!

Fair Trade

Let's try to brighten this weather up!

February has been a bit of a damp squib to start. I have tried to pretty much ignore the weather and concentrate on all the beautiful prints and colours that will be on their way for March. I hope you are all prepping yourselves for your own kind of Christmas and will enjoy some soirees and gatherings with friends and family. Definitely a quiet one here with plenty of relaxing, parlour games (sounds a bit weird that) and long chilly walks.  The last of my deliveries has been made and the rails are looking fabulously low, this time of year my aim is to be as low on...

10 Years! Happy November

10 Years! Happy November

Having just returned from a little half term break I totally forgot on the actual day the anniversary of the first ever shop opening. 4th November 2013 I took up residence at number 15 Herbert Street for a 2 month test...a couple of move abouts later 10 years have passed and I am grateful to still be here. Not only still here but probably enjoying myself more than ever before - which is a really positive thing. November seemed to just smack us in the face with a big hello and the realisation that I need...
